Our low voltage motor products cover a performance range from 0.09 to 4000 kW. The new family of 1LE1 motors - one of the most compact in the world
The SIEMENS SIMOTICS new family of 1LE1 motors is also one of the most compact in the world as SIEMENS produces it employing innovative, state-of-the-art technologies. In order to achieve an optimum design, SIEMEMS uses a combination of highly conductive materials in the rotor. The results include minimized rotor losses and an excellent starting and switching behavior.
Further, SIEMENS pays special attention to environmental compatibility and the frugal use of resources in the production environment. For instance, no solvents are used in the insulation impregnation and painting.
Design and architecture of the 1LE1 motors ensure maximum flexibility and minimum associated costs when mounting and installing: Users benefit from integrated lifting eye bolts, mounting feet that can be bolted on, reinforced bearing end shields with optimum mechanical properties and terminal boxes that are easy to access. Not only this, encoders, brakes and external fans can be easily added. Stocking is also simple due to the low variance of parts enabling motor distributors to quickly respond to customer requirements.
